Letter From The President

January 5, 2026

Dear Pastors, Leaders, and Members of the Hmong Baptist National Association,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we enter into the New Year of 2026, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings and deep appreciation to each of you for your continued support, prayers, and partnership in the ministry of the Hmong Baptist National Association (HBNA).

It is both a great honor and a humbling privilege to serve as your President. I thank God for entrusting me with this responsibility, and I thank you the local churches and faithful servants for giving me the opportunity to lead and serve alongside you. Your dedication and unity have been a constant source of
encouragement and strength for our association.

As we look forward to the year ahead, my vision and prayer for the HBNA is one of revitalization. Together, we will continue to build a stronger foundation by focusing on:

  1. Strengthening Association Policies – Ensuring that our governance and ministry practices remain clear, transparent, and aligned with our mission to serve God faithfully.
  2. Financial Sustainability – Developing sound stewardship strategies that will support long-term growth and ministry effectiveness across all departments.
  3. Operational Efficiency – Improving our internal systems and communication so that our ministries can operate more effectively and serve our churches with excellence.
  4. Stronger Relationships – Deepening partnerships among our local churches, departments, and leaders so that we may stand united in the spirit of love and cooperation.
  5. Content Creation and Communication – Producing more ministry resources, training materials, and digital content that will encourage spiritual growth and strengthen our collective witness for Christ.

We will also remain committed to proper implementation and accountability within the association and all departmental ministries. Each area of work must reflect integrity, responsibility, and faithfulness to the mission that God has entrusted to us.

As we move forward, may we continue to rely on the wisdom of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the unity of our fellowship. Let us serve with renewed passion and purpose, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Thank you once again for your trust, prayers, and unwavering support. May 2026 be a year of spiritual growth, renewed strength, and fruitful ministry for every Hmong Baptist church and family.

Sincerely,
Rev. Cha Yang
President, Hmong Baptist National Association
