Hmong Baptist Annual Association would like to invite you to join us on October 9th-11th for our 34th Annual Conference (Firm Foundation) this year in Green Lake, WI at the Green Lake Conference Center. We look forward to seeing our brothers and sisters from our fellowship churches.

What can you expect at annual conference?

Main Speakers:

  1. Joseph Young,  Senior Pastor of First Hmong Baptist Church at Coon Rapids (Thursday night)
  2. Charles Grant,  Associate VP for Convention Advancement & Relations (Friday night)
  3. Chong Pao Thao, HBNA President (Saturday morning)

There will be a variety of workshops from our guest teachers invited specifically to teach on each topic. Available workshops will be listed below to give some insight on what to expect this year.

Workshops:

  1. Dr. Hongyi Yang – from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary on the Trinity
  2. Aaron Jameson – from TLI – Preaching Cohort 
  3. Mark Hobafcovich (will be replacing Tim Dowdy) from NAMB – Teaching on Evangelism
  4. Jeremy Sin – from NAMB -Teaching on Pastor Coaching 
  5. Hoom Im – from GuideStone on Investing and Budget Guidelines

We will be having three main speakers consisting of our very own President Rev. Chong Pao Thao, Rev. Joseph Young, and Rev. Charles Grant. There will be teaching with a variety of workshops from our local leaders, Pastors, and guest teachers. Among those who are invited to teach will be Dr. Hongyi on “The Doctrine of the Trinity”.
