Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:6
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
God once said, “Let there be light,” and the darkness disappeared. That same God still speaks light today. His greatest work isn’t the sun in the sky. His greatest work is the light of Jesus shining inside a person’s heart when they believe in Him.
When fear, worry, or sadness makes our life feel dark, remember this: The Word of God still has power. He can speak light into your day again. One quiet word from Him can chase away the darkness in your mind and heart. The gospel, the good news about Jesus, isn’t only something we learn. It’s a light we live by every day. When we look to Jesus, we see life more clearly. We start to understand who we are, why we’re here, and what truly matters in life. Light helps us see beauty, truth, and hope that we couldn’t see before.
So, take a moment today and pray: “Lord Jesus, shine Your light in me and through me. Help others find their way to You through my life.”
You don’t have to create light on your own. Just stay close to Jesus who is the Source of all light, and His glow will shine through you. With all the unrest across the nation, the communities need this light today. The question is: “Will you share that light source to them?”
